We recently had two beautiful newborn twins in our studio here in sunny South Wales, and little did we know how popular this image would become! Our newborn portraits of Alfie and Elsie (whose Mum travelled all the way from Bristol to see us!) were submitted to Anna Brandt's competition to feature in her 'multiples' issue of TAoPaN magazine - a magazine that is distributed world wide to inspire other photographers - and our photo was one of the ones chosen! Ana Brandt is a celebrity industry leader in newborn and baby photography, and to have been one of the few photographers whose image was chosen for her magazine was one of our biggest achievements to date. in preparation for this image, we purchased two new posing rings, one pink, one blue. We had actually seen the pink one in use during one of Ana's tutorials on how to use it, and seeing that the supplier was in Britain made it all the easier to purchase. What I loved about this posing ring is the softness of it, as well as the size. It was just right to sit a baby and support them, and made from materials that are all soft means baby is always so comfortable during this pose. They simply curl up like they're having a cuddle.
